Hi, it seems like ages since I wrote anything on here, the work in the bathroom is almost complete and looking good, so pictures will be taken and posted quite soon. In the meantime, I seem to be struggling to find anything much to blog about.

I went to my writing group today, first time back after a two week break. The tutor has been away in India taking part in a writing project called the Rivers Project, I haven't checked it out yet, but there is a blog for the project at www.gujarat-yorkshire.blogspot.com so it will be interesting to see what she has been up to and how the project is progressing.

The weather has turned a bit colder again in Yorkshire, my neck seems to be responding to it by giving me some gip. I may have to start taking painkillers again if it keeps getting worse.

I am happy to report that I have recently aquired three new blog friends: Miramaze, Austin Lance and GilraenH whom I was fortunate to meet in Leeds last week. Initially, the idea of meeting complete strangers at a blogmeet filled me with aprehension, because it is very rare for me to meet new people and have to make conversation in a "getting to know you" way. I needn't have worried, we had a lovely evening along with Isadora 101 and Rundontwalk, who inspires others amongst us to meet up with her on her epic journey across the world from Canada and up and down the British Isles.
